But perhaps that is what its all about. Nothing lasts for ever and perhaps, the memory of those experiences which really move us, even when they can at times be painful, are what its all about. I once said that I would rather take the crushing lows if the soaring highs were the reward, because I don’t want to go through life feeling nothing. I am not calm still water. I am a raging torrent and I am a waterfall, I am the wide sweep of the river coming to the sea in all its glory and majesty, but I am not and will not be a puddle. I will continue to feel, even if feeling is painful, even if feeling makes me weep at times, because to feel is to live. if we are the universe experiencing itself, then why not give it one hell of a ride. Something to remember for all time.
