With each word

With each word
Carefully creep back in
So subtle your fingers
Claw into crevices

Before long I am lost in sunlight
In the park where we walked
Wishing for that summer once more
Knowing it can never be again

Slowly shedding
By syllables
Prying you out
With each word

    1. Thank you so much Gina. I think I have missed sharing this aspect of myself more than I realised. I put a lot of energy into some other things this year and I’m finally finding my way back too. 😊

      1. am glad you have come back to share and write here. hope your projects have been fruitful and your return is very welcomed. sometimes we don’t realise how much we miss something till we have it again. it was a good come back poem.
